The WiTi SafeLink Wireless Towing Interface sends your tow vehicle's lighting and braking signals to your caravan or trailer wirelessly, so they work without depending on the trailer plug cable. It's the third generation of WiTi's original Wireless Towing Interface, redesigned from the ground up for modern vehicles: instead of plugging into the trailer socket, SafeLink mounts discreetly under the vehicle and wires into the back of the vehicle's trailer plug.
- Wireless lighting signals: Tail lights, indicators, brake lights and reverse signals from your tow vehicle are sent to the WiTi Anti-Theft System on your van over a direct wireless link.
- Wireless braking: Already running a third-party electric brake controller in your tow vehicle? SafeLink carries its brake output to the van too, so the trailer's electric brakes apply when you brake or use the controller's manual override.
- Wi-Fi Direct, encrypted: SafeLink uses Wi-Fi Direct to create a private, encrypted connection between the two devices. No home router, modem, phone app or mobile signal is needed. It's the same secure connection the WiTi SafeTow Brake Controller uses.
- Under-vehicle mount: A new compact form factor that mounts out of the way under the tow vehicle, wired into the back of the vehicle's trailer plug. Nothing hanging off the plug, nothing to knock or lose.
- Pre-installed 300 mm loom: Supplied with a 300 mm wiring loom already fitted, ready for installation.
- 12 V and 24 V: Suits standard 12 V tow vehicles and 24 V trucks, including the Isuzu NPS, Mitsubishi Canter 716E and Hino 300 Series.
- Part of the WiTi towing platform: Works alongside the WiTi Anti-Theft System and SafeTow Wireless Brake Controller, so lights, brakes and security all run on the one secure link.
SafeLink supports all third-party electric brake controllers, so you can keep the controller you already have. It also suits all tow vehicles, including the Ford Ranger, RAM, Chevrolet and Toyota ranges, plus 24 V trucks.
Wired into the back of your vehicle's trailer plug, so there's nothing brand-specific to buy.
Where the original Wireless Towing Interface plugged into the 12-pin trailer socket, SafeLink V3 is built into the vehicle side of the plug. That makes it tidier, more robust and better suited to today's vehicles.
Installation: Anyone with general 12/24 V wiring knowledge can install SafeLink themselves, or any WiTi dealer can fit it for you. Find one with our dealer & installer finder.
Compatibility note: SafeLink requires the WiTi Anti-Theft System SKU 480 fitted to your caravan or trailer to receive the lighting and brake signals.

SafeLink sends your tow vehicle's tail light, indicator, brake light and reverse signals, plus the service brake output from an existing brake controller, to your caravan or trailer wirelessly, over a secure link to the WiTi Anti-Theft System.
Wi-Fi Direct is a wireless technology that lets two devices talk directly to each other without needing a home router, modem or internet connection. WiTi uses it to create a private, encrypted link between your tow vehicle and the WiTi Anti-Theft System on your van. It's the connection used by both SafeLink and the SafeTow Brake Controller, so it works anywhere, including well outside mobile coverage.
Yes. SafeLink works with the WiTi Anti-Theft System SKU 480 fitted to your caravan or trailer. The Anti-Theft receives the lighting and brake signals from SafeLink, so it's required for SafeLink to operate.
SafeLink mounts under the tow vehicle and wires into the back of the vehicle's trailer plug. It comes with a 300 mm wiring loom already fitted. Anyone with general 12/24 V wiring knowledge can install it themselves, or any WiTi dealer can fit it for you; find one with our dealer & installer finder.
Yes. SafeLink runs on 12 V and 24 V, so it suits trucks such as the Isuzu NPS, Mitsubishi Canter 716E and Hino 300 Series as well as standard 12 V tow vehicles.
The original plugged into the tow vehicle's 12-pin trailer socket. SafeLink V3 is a completely new design that mounts under the vehicle and wires into the back of the trailer plug, making it tidier, more robust and better suited to modern vehicles.
Yes. SafeLink includes a service brake output, so if your tow vehicle already has another brand of electric brake controller, SafeLink carries its output to the van. The trailer's electric brakes apply when you brake or use the controller's manual override, with no trailer cable needed.
Yes. SafeLink and the SafeTow Wireless Brake Controller both use the same encrypted Wi-Fi Direct connection to the Anti-Theft System, so lights, brakes and security all run on the one link.
