Device Installation & Connectivity

The WiTi SafeTrack GPS connects seamlessly to the WiTi Anti-Theft system via a dedicated Bluetooth link, allowing flexible placement of the GPS unit anywhere within the vehicle. This wireless communication ensures a clean and simple installation without the need for additional data cables.

By using a Bluetooth connection between the GPS and the Anti‑Theft system, the two components can be physically separated. If the alarm is disabled or compromised, the hidden GPS continues tracking — removing the single point of failure common in all‑in‑one systems.

For power, the unit can be connected directly to a 12V DC supply using the red (positive) and black (negative) wires, or via the existing GPS power connectors on the WiTi Anti-Theft wiring harness.

If your vehicle is equipped with a Starlink system, WiTi SafeTrack GPS can also connect to the onboard Wi-Fi network, enabling continuous live tracking even in remote areas with limited or no mobile coverage.

    When Wi-Fi isn’t available, the system automatically switches to its Multi-Network SIM, which accesses all major cellular networks across Australia, New Zealand, and globally. This dual-layer connectivity ensures your asset is always within reach, no matter where it is.
