WiTi SafeLink sends your tow vehicle’s lighting and braking signals to your caravan or trailer over a private, encrypted wireless link, so they work without depending on the trailer plug cable. It mounts out of the way under the vehicle and works with the WiTi Anti-Theft System.
How SafeLink works
SafeLink sits on the tow vehicle side. The WiTi Anti-Theft System on your caravan or trailer receives the signals and passes them to the van’s lights and brakes.
Everything the trailer plug carries, sent wirelessly
Trailer plugs and leads take a beating on the road. SafeLink sends your tow vehicle’s signals to the van over a direct wireless link, so your lights and brakes don’t depend on the plug cable.
- Tail lights, indicators, brake lights and reverse signals

Built into the vehicle side of the plug
SafeLink is the third generation of WiTi’s Wireless Towing Interface. Where the original plugged into the 12-pin trailer socket, SafeLink mounts under the vehicle and wires into the back of the trailer plug. Nothing hanging off the plug, nothing to knock or lose.

A private link between your vehicle and van
SafeLink uses Wi-Fi Direct to create its own encrypted connection. It’s the same secure connection the WiTi SafeTow Brake Controller uses.
