Automatic firmware delivery — no manual flash needed for the current SafeTrack GPS product.

Anti-Theft System V3 firmware
Current model. Compatible with all Anti-Theft V3 units (serial numbers starting ATB86…) released from April 2026 onwards.
v8.0.2
23.06.26New
Sway detection: yaw-rate oscillation monitor with severity grading and runtime threshold scaling. Built into this release but disabled by default — will be enabled after field testing.
Trailer configuration: receives trailer dimensions from the Brake Controller and stores them on-device so they persist across power cycles.
Lights short-circuit warning: new fault flag triggered when a short is detected in the trailer lighting circuit.
Manual override braking: applies direct gain while the override button is held; instant release on button release (no ramp-down).
Auto mode switching extended to WI-only modes (3 ↔ 1).
Improvements
Braking profile restored to standard tune (gain ×2.0, hill-descent threshold 2.5%, 100% scale).
Fixes
Voltage display: resolved an "infV" reading on the Brake Controller display caused by nested preference reads.

Anti-Theft (V2) firmware
Older V2 Anti-Theft units. After the initial workshop bench-flash conversion is complete, you can self-flash future firmware updates yourself using the files below.
Bench flash required first. These firmware files only work on devices that have already had the initial workshop bench-flash conversion. If your device hasn't had the bench flash yet, book a workshop upgrade — without it, flashing these files will not work.
