The WiTi Anti-Theft System is a purpose-built security solution for caravans, motorhomes, and trailers. The moment an unauthorised hitch attempt or break-in is detected, WiTi locks the trailer brakes, triggers a 105dB horn and flashes all external lights — stopping theft before it starts.
- 6-Axis Gyroscope: Detects unauthorised movement instantly — engages trailer brakes to prevent the caravan or trailer from being towed.
- Tilt Detection (SKU 480): Detects drawbar lift or drop of ±60mm — catches hitch attempts before towing even begins.
- Intrusion Detection: Included wireless PIR motion sensor and magnetic door switch trigger the alarm on break-in attempts.
- 105dB Horn & Lights Flash: Activates instantly on detection; auto-resets after 30 seconds and resumes monitoring.
- Brake Locking: Engages trailer electric brakes immediately — the caravan or trailer cannot be towed. Not applicable to motorhome braking circuits.
- OTA Firmware Updates: Apply the latest security improvements by pairing with your mobile device — no service visit required.
- Platform Integration: Pairs with SafeTrack GPS for live tracking, instant mobile alerts and remote arm/disarm. Integrates with SafeTow Wireless Brake Controller for Hill Descent Control, Brake Smoothing and Smart Levelling.
Additional PIR sensors and door switches can be purchased, with up to 20 devices able to be paired.

NOTE: WiTi Anti-Theft is not able to be wired into motorhome braking circuits. For the external lights to flash on alarm, the unit must be wired into the vehicle’s lighting circuits — please check with your vehicle manufacturer to confirm compatibility before installation.

The Anti-Theft System requires hardwiring into your caravan or trailer's 12V electrics — typically 3–5 hours for a competent DIY installer. All other WiTi products (SafeTrack GPS, SafeTow, Breakaway Switch) are plug-and-play and pair wirelessly. Professional installation is available via our dealer & installer finder.
Yes — the Anti-Theft System is compatible with all standard 12V electric trailer brake systems, connecting directly via the trailer's 7-pin or 12-pin connector. Note: it cannot be wired into motorhome braking circuits.
The system draws less than 5mA on standby. For long-term storage, a solar trickle charger or disconnecting the unit is recommended. The system shuts down protectively if voltage drops below ~11.5V.
Only the WiTi SafeTrack app can remote arm and disarm, as long as the GPS module is connected to a Wi-Fi or cellular network. RF remotes have a 5–10m range from the Anti-Theft unit.
The alarm and intrusion detection features work on motorhomes. However, the electric brake lock cannot be wired into motorhome braking circuits. For external lights to flash on alarm, the unit must be wired into the vehicle's lighting circuits — check with your vehicle manufacturer before installation.
All WiTi products carry a 2-year manufacturer's warranty against defects, plus lifetime product support. Australian buyers have additional rights under Australian Consumer Law. To start a claim, contact our support team with your order number and SKU.
