The WiTi SafeTow Wireless Brake Controller is Australia's only brake controller built as part of a fully integrated towing safety platform. SafeTow shares the Anti-Theft System's built-in 6-axis gyro sensor — no duplicate hardware, no extra wiring — so the same device that protects your rig also controls how it stops. Monitor and adjust everything from a dedicated 2.8" touch screen mounted on your dash, always in eyeline, never buried in a phone app or CarPlay menu.
- Dedicated 2.8" Touch Screen: A purpose-built dash display gives you live brake status, force control, and levelling — always visible while you drive, not on your phone.
- Hill Descent Control: Automatically applies trailer brakes proportional to the angle of descent whenever you brake on a downhill grade. Keeps your rig stable without the trailer pushing the tow vehicle.
- Brake Smoothing: Electronically modulates braking output to eliminate harsh jolting — smoother stops, less wear on your trailer, more comfortable for everyone on board.
- USB-C Powered: No cab wiring, no electrician required. Plug into any USB-C port in your tow vehicle and go. Swaps between vehicles in seconds.
- Closed Wi-Fi Pairing: Connects to the WiTi Anti-Theft System over an encrypted Wi-Fi link — no Bluetooth dropouts, no third-party apps, no interference.
- OTA Firmware Updates: Keeps your system current without a service visit — updates download over Wi-Fi directly to the device.
- Smart Levelling: Uses the Anti-Theft System's built-in 6-axis gyro sensor to show live roll and pitch readings on screen. Get your van level before you step outside — no separate level tool needed.
- WiTi TPMS: Coming Soon Monitor all tyre pressures live from the dash while you drive. Requires WiTi TPMS Sensors, sold separately.
SafeTow is designed to be moved between vehicles — unplug from one tow vehicle, plug into another, and you're towing in seconds. Because SafeTow draws its sensor data from the Anti-Theft System rather than carrying its own, the whole platform is lighter and simpler.
Compatibility note: The WiTi SafeTow Wireless Brake Controller requires the WiTi Anti-Theft System SKU 480 (April 2026 onward) to operate. It is not compatible with Anti-Theft units manufactured prior to April 2026. Units with a serial number starting from ATB85 may be eligible for a firmware update to enable compatibility.

The Anti-Theft System requires hardwiring into your caravan or trailer's 12V electrics — typically 3–5 hours for a competent DIY installer. All other WiTi products (SafeTrack GPS, SafeTow, Breakaway Switch) are plug-and-play and pair wirelessly. Professional installation is available via our dealer & installer finder.
Yes — the Anti-Theft System is compatible with all standard 12V electric trailer brake systems, connecting directly via the trailer's 7-pin or 12-pin connector. Note: it cannot be wired into motorhome braking circuits.
The system draws less than 5mA on standby. For long-term storage, a solar trickle charger or disconnecting the unit is recommended. The system shuts down protectively if voltage drops below ~11.5V.
Only the WiTi SafeTrack app can remote arm and disarm, as long as the GPS module is connected to a Wi-Fi or cellular network. RF remotes have a 5–10m range from the Anti-Theft unit.
The alarm and intrusion detection features work on motorhomes. However, the electric brake lock cannot be wired into motorhome braking circuits. For external lights to flash on alarm, the unit must be wired into the vehicle's lighting circuits — check with your vehicle manufacturer before installation.
All WiTi products carry a 2-year manufacturer's warranty against defects, plus lifetime product support. Australian buyers have additional rights under Australian Consumer Law. To start a claim, contact our support team with your order number and SKU.
