Anti-Theft System V3
The hardwired core that every other WiTi module connects to. Installed in your caravan with intrusion detection, a 105 dB alarm, and the 6-axis IMU sensor that powers the whole platform.

SafeTow Brake Controller
A wireless brake controller that uses the 6-axis sensor inside your Anti-Theft System over a closed, encrypted Wi-Fi network hosted on the device itself. Unlike Bluetooth, this gives SafeTow a more reliable connection, higher data transfer rates, and a typical range of 50–100 metres — more than enough from cab to caravan. Hill Descent Control, Brake Smoothing, and a dedicated 2.8” touchscreen — not an app tab.

Anti-Theft with Breakaway
If your caravan or trailer ever uncouples from the tow vehicle, the Breakaway activates the Anti-Theft System to engage the trailer brakes automatically — bringing the rig to a controlled stop. Particularly critical for heavier trailers 2,000 kg+.

SafeLink
The fourth platform module — currently in development. SafeLink replaces the trailer plug and lead with a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi signal, so every electrical connection between tow vehicle and trailer is wireless.

The WiTi Anti-Theft System responds to both towing attempts and break-ins with independent, overlapping detection systems that activate simultaneously.
Movement Detection via 6-Axis IMU
A highly sensitive 6-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (3-axis accelerometer + 3-axis gyroscope) monitors your trailer’s movement around the clock. The moment it detects the pitch signature of an unauthorised hitch-up, the system activates immediately — before the thief has even left your driveway.
Electric Brake Lock
When movement is detected, the Anti-Theft System immediately applies the trailer’s electric brakes, locking the wheels and preventing towing. A thief can’t drag your van away — the trailer physically cannot be moved. The brakes release automatically after 30 seconds and the system rearms. If movement continues to be detected, the brakes continue to be locked.
105dB Alarm & External Light Flash
Simultaneously with the brake lock, external lights on your caravan or trailer — tail and indicators — begin flashing, and a 105-decibel horn sounds. That’s louder than a chainsaw at close range. The alarm cycles off after 30 seconds, returns to monitoring mode, and repeats the full cycle if motion continues to be detected.
Intrusion Detection
Separate from the towing detection, WiTi monitors your internal space and lockers via magnetic door switches and the PIR motion sensor. Open the doors without disarming first, or trigger via movement inside the van, and the alarm fires immediately. This layer protects your belongings even when the trailer is stationary and parked.
It doesn’t wait for the van to leave. It stops it before it gets there.
WiTi uses a 6-axis Inertial Measurement Unit that measures exact changes in pitch, roll, and yaw continuously.
The moment the IMU detects the motion signature of a towing event, or the tilt of hitching up, the system reacts within milliseconds — applying the brakes directly through the same electric braking circuit the trailer uses every time you tow. The van’s wheels are locked. It won’t move.
The alarm and lights fire simultaneously — making the attempt impossible to hide. 30 seconds of alarm, returns to monitoring, then repeats until the threat stops or the system is disarmed.
They can’t hitch up. But they might still try the door.
Preventing tow theft is one thing. The WiTi Anti-Theft System also watches the internal space of your van independently — because a thief who can’t steal the whole caravan may still try to steal what’s inside it.
Two independent sensors cover the interior. If either triggers while the system is armed, the full 105dB alarm fires and the external lights begin flashing — the same response as a towing attempt. Neither sensor depends on the other, so even if one is defeated, the other holds the line.
Additional magnetic door switches can be added to external lockers, extending the same protection to your storage bays for the ultimate peace of mind.
At 3:30am one Thursday morning, the alarm paid for itself when a young couple tried tampering with our van. He tried getting in the door without luck, she unplugged the power cord. At this point, the alarm activated and all the lights flashed. They legged it down the road. They won’t be coming back past our place in a hurry.

The WiTi Anti-Theft System V3 wires directly into three circuits: your caravan or trailer’s electric braking system, your external lighting circuit, and your house battery power supply. Installation typically takes under two hours for an experienced auto electrician.
